Visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain
I visited Bahrain last April 14-16 together with sir Mar D's family. On our first day, we encountered minor problem in the border of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia where the immigration officer forgot to return the visa of one of the twins of sir Mar D. Thank God, we managed that and were able to enter Bahrain.
Ms. Joyce, a friend of sir Mar D and Ms. Ruby met us in the Causeway with his father. Then, we proceeded going to the main island of Bahrain.
First Day: Food Festival in Hotpot. :) After eating, we stayed in the flat of Ms. Joyce. Thank you, Ms. Joyce for accomodating us for two days.
Second Day: We visited the world trade center of Bahrain where in the ground floor several posh outlets are located and it is called Moda Mall. Then, we went to City Centre for malling, have lunch and have some coffee in Star Bucks. City Centre is the biggest mall in Bahrain. This was the first time for me to watch a movie in 3D and we watched "Clash of the Titans". Looking for the Hotpot restaurant was a challenged because we were all first time in this country. No choice but to go street by street and at last we found it. Thus, we had our dinner again in Hotpot restaurant. We got back home, Ms. Ruby and the twins rested already while sir Mar D and I went to Twister Bar in Ramada Hotel for some drinks and listened to good music courtesy of Pinoy Band.
Third Day: Luckily, Ms. Maricel, a friend of Ms. Ruby is working in Bahrain, so she accompanied us touring Bahrain. Our first stop was the Bahrain National Museum. It was a good museum. You can appreciate everything about Bahrain as early as 500 BC. Then, we went to Arab fort but unfortunately, it was closed. Then, we had our lunch again in Hotpot this time it was a buffet courtesy of Ms. Maricel. Thank You, Ms. Maricel. After the heavy lunch, we went to Seef Mall, another big mall in Bahrain. We had our coffee and some shoppings for the souvenirs. We went home to pack our bags and our last stop was attending a mass at Sacred Heart Parish in Bahrain. Finally, we travelled back to Riyadh Safely.
