Ramadan Holiday in United Arab Emirates (UAE)

My adventure in UAE started last Sept 5, 2010 but prior to that i had to buy the bus ticket on the day before which is Sept 4, 2010 at SAPTCO, Riyadh. I was there at 10:00pm to buy the ticket. Thank you to Sir Mar D and family for accompanying me there.

Day 1 Sept 5, 2010

- Riyadh Departure @ 5:00pm
- I was in the Bus Terminal two hours before my departure time. Thanks to Sir Egil for the ride going to the bus terminal.
- The bus departed @ 5:30pm in Riyadh and the bus reached the UAE Border around past 1am of Sept 6, 2010. Exiting from KSA has no problem because i had my Exit/Re Entry visa and entering UAE has no problem because my profession is allowed to travel to UAE. However, since i was the only Filipino in the bus, i had my eye scanned, filled-up the form for the visa, and waited for my passport to be stamped. It took some time to process it. So when i finished and went outside of the immigration office, the bus was not there. I panicked because UAE Border to Abu Dhabi is 3-4 hours travel, all my things were in the bus, the next bus will be on the next 24 hours and i was in the middle of the desert. Thankfully my new friend Muath from Abu Dhabi went back to the immigration office to see me. He's really my angel that night. Then, the rest of my travel went well. The bus arrived in Abu Dhabi past 7am and from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, it was another 1 hour drive.


I arrived in Dubai at around 8am. I checked in the Ibis Deira City Hotel at 10am.

Day 2 Sept 6, 2010

-Officially started after i rested in the hotel, 5pm i went to Deira City Center Mall.


Then inquire about the city bus tour. I joined the night city bus tour. The tour started at 7:30pm.

The Jumeirah Mosque is a special mosque because even non-muslim can enter in this mosque.


After the night tour, i hanged out at Gloria Jean's Cafe in Deira City Centre.


Then, went back to the hotel to sleep and prepare for the next day.


Day 3 Sept 7, 2010

- The city bus tour started at 10am and it was finished at 7pm.
